Dr. Christina Itata M.D.

Christina Itata, MD is a physician who is double ACGME-board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine, as well as certified in Addiction Medicine. She received her training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where she served as the Academic Chief Resident. She subsequently completed further fellowship-training at the accredited, multidisciplinary Pain Medicine Fellowship Program at Emory School of Medicine.

Dr. Itata's areas of expertise include diagnosis of spine and joint pathology and performance of facet, epidural and peripheral joint injections, radiofrequency ablations, spinal cord stimulation, kyphoplasty and vertebroplasty as well as many other interventional pain medicine procedures. She also has experience and interest in regenerative medicine, holistic medicine, and aesthetic medicine.

Dr. Itata treats a wide variety of patients including for the Department of Labor, personal iniury and most insurances. As a physician, she embraces the ideals of effective communication between patients and healthcare providers, evidence-based medicine and compassionate care.
